Hey Y'all! We are the Murphy's!
Our love story is one that no one would have expected. November 2013 was the day I sent him a message on a dating app. We spoke and a few weeks later we finally met up in December 2013. He made a joke of " Do you believe in love at first sight?" I said I don't know which prompted him to leave the theater seat and come back up and say what about now? We finished the movie and sat in the parking lot eating ice cream and fries but that came with being back before curfew...He says I was like Cinderella in our dating life :) Which was one of the many things that made me fall for him. After that we talked non-stop and went on dates when he wasn't in the field for training. After 7 months he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! Of course I was overjoyed but that came with the military stationing him from Georgia to North Carolina. On November 21, 2014 we tied the knot on those Columbus GA courthouse steps. Which was the start of our love story of 10 years and counting. We are still laughing and growing as a couple. While we are doing that our family has grown to the Murphy party of 6!

Our Love Story......Finding Love Later in Life.
Finding love at any age can be scary. The battle scars, the wounds of the past causes one to guard their heart and not let anyone penatrate the protective barriers. We both had been hurt by past relationships and we both were skeptical of falling in love again. But as we grew to know each other, our hearts which had been incased in ice, began to melt. We learned how to laugh and live again. Our relationship is not perfect and we have had our share of storms. But , we have decided it's better to be together than apart.

Stephon (36) and Ronnae (31) have been together for 9 years and married 8 years.
Our story is quite interesting actually. We both went to the same church for years but never really talked to each other. Stephon is 5 years older than me so that definitely played a part in it. Unknowingly we both went to the altar to ask God for a spouse at two different services. Later that same year (2015) we met at a nightclub and danced all night. That same night we went to Wafflehouse for a snack and have been inseparable since.
